reply from VIZIO

When measuring a TV screen size, the industry standard is to measure the screen diagonally from the bottom left or right corner up to the opposite top left or right corner. When measuring this model’s screen diagonally, from the bottom left corner to the top right corner, it will measure at 69.50", which is an industry standard to be marketed and advertised with a rounding up to 70".
