I have tried these and the shields and have not found them to fit very well. They just dont seem to be made for mens briefs to wide at the top glue in wrong place and they bunch up at the bottom. I tried the womens version poise and found them a better fit and a lot cheaper which I think is not right the ladies are so much less than mens Just not a good fit and would be more than will to help them redesign

This pad is no where the quality that it used to be. I can not see how they come up with positive reviews. The pad is much smaller than the earlier types, less absorbent and the area where it meets the leg opening shrinks and causes the briefs to be soaked and needs changed three to four times a day. The pads are smaller and not enough adhesive material to stay put in position. This is not the pad it used to be. It obviously means more money for the company until people may no longer want to purchase it, then they may make it better. At least to the quality it was five years ago. I hope they post this as it is not just all good reviews that should tell the story honestly.

Almost a year ago we went on an 18 day trip to the Midwest and Canada and enjoyed every second of the trip. We made rest stops along the way and if I had to change was able to do so in a family rest room. At that time it had only been 6 months since I had the prostate removed by robotic surgery. I know I will have to wear guards or Real Fit underwear. Expect to wear a number of years. I have found these products excellent for my needs. Would highly recommend them.

This product has recently changed to the grey wrapper and grey liner, and it's a step backward. It doesn't absorb any where near what the older version (white wrapper and blue liner) did. I bought them thinking they've improved the product, now I'm looking for something that works again. I even called a number of local places to see if anyone had the older dark green packaging, but no one did. I've used the original guards for almost 12 years but this new product is useless to me, it only lasts about 1/3 the time as the old one. I can't recommend this new product to anyone.

After my radical prostatecomy I needed both underwear and pads. I use these pads everyday. They have allowed me to go to the gym, ride my bike, and play drums at my church. No one Knows I'm wearing them and they have made my life less stressful. Every month I get better bladder control but these pads have given me a sense of security that I won't mess up my underwear. They are large enough to cover the entire area. Thank you Depends for making my life enjoyable again.

I have been using Depend Guards for Men for 3 or 4 years & I have been quite satisfied with their fit & dependability. However, the lower seal of one of the pads from the last package came undone, spilling the contents when I removed the pad from my briefs. OK, it was only one pad. So, maybe it was an aberration. I ordered another package & the first two pads had the same problem. For the most part I only use the Guards at night, for nocturia, while I am sleeping. So, there is no risk of public embarrassment. But I also use them when I am travelling & now I don't know what I will do. When you have used a product for a number of years with no problem & suddenly there is a problem, you have to suspect a decline in quality control for economic reasons.

BEEN USING DEPENDS FOR 12 YEARS FOLLOWING SURGERY TO CORRECT A SIDE EFFECT OF BRACHYTHERAPY. THE NEW VERSION FELT THE SAME AS THE PRODUCT IT REPLACED. UNFORTUNATELY, MY EXPERIENCES HAVE NOT BEEN GOOD. I USUALLY BUY 4 TO 6 PACKAGES AT A TIME AND THE PREVIOUS PRODUCT LASTED ABOUT A MONTH FOR EACH PACKAGE. I DID NOT KNOW THE PRODUCT HAD BEEN 'IMPROVED' UNTIL I RAN LOW AND BOUGHT 5 MORE PACKAGES. HERE ARE MY PROBLEMS: I HAVE GONE THROUGH 2 PACKAGES IN 5 WEEKS, SIGNIFICANTLY MORE EXPENSIVE! I DO NOT BELIEVE MY LEAKAGE HAS INCREASED AT THE SAME TIME AS CHANGING PRODUCTS, BUT IF I COULD FIND THE OLD PRODUCT I WOULD SURELY TEST THIS POSSIBILITY. THE PRODUCT HOLDS LESS VOLUME. WITH THE PREVIOUS PRODUCT IN 12 YEARS I HAD ONLY 2 PUBLIC ACCIDENTS WHERE THE URINE FILLED AND LEAKED (I CARRY SPARES) I HAVE HAD 6 ACCIDENTS IN THE PAST 5 WEEKS WITHOUT WARNING AND BEFORE I COULD GET TO A RESTROOM. IF THERE IS A TRICK TO USING THE NEW ONES, I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND IT.

I regard the current Guards design for men to be more appropriate for a woman. Men require a little more wider coverage from the middle to upper portion of the guard. The coverage is insufficient for active wear when male genitals tend to move back and forth. The design needs to be adjusted so as to accommodate movement or swing motions when sitting cross legged..

I use men's guard max absorbency 52 in a package. Since I have been using them I feel much more comfortable when I am in public they are comfortable and easy to change in a public restroom. I am probably like most men and never ever thought I would have to rely on shields or guards for men but I do and I am glad Depends are there for me. Thank You Depends
