It is a cooling effect after it is sprayed and reminds me of a body spray mist. I rated it a 4 because for some reason this burns slightly when I spray it on certain areas like my chest and lower stomach area before I feel a cooling effect. But the product is very effective.

The smell is nice and doesn't take too long to dry. The sprayer works well. The best part to me is that it is aluminum free.
