[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make my espresso using a moka pot, so that's the method I used to make this. It has a very deep roasted smell that is bordering on burnt, the grounds are jet black and very fine. The grind seems a little too fine for the moka pot but I'm no expert so I'm not sure. The espresso is unfortunately a bit bitter and has a slightly sour after taste so I prefer to use this in "mixed" drinks like cappuccinos and mochas. It still gives me a nice boost of energy but I don't think I'll be buying it again. I received this product as an incentive for my honest and unbiased review.

I’m not addicted to coffee; I could quit any time but have no plans to do that any time in this life… My wife gave me a handheld Minipresso machine for Christmas so that I can brew myself an emergency espresso in the middle of a long airplane ride tomorrow. I tried a couple of different blends and grinds before I hit upon Bustelo espresso grind. I love the earthiness in the aroma and aftertaste of Latin American coffees, and this was exactly what I was looking for in an espresso. I can’t wait to try it in my Nespresso machine as well, when I get back from this trip!

I'm in love with this coffee already, paired with my creamer and sugar it's a major delight, and I have been letting everyone know about it. I can't believe I've never tried it before, I'm a completely changed woman now, and I've completely redirected all my coffee needs! I highly reccomend this to everyone, don't overlook this one

Cafe Bustelo was a quality dark roast, with a good flavor and smell of good coffee. I've been drinking Bustelo Espresso for 14 years. This week I bought two packages, and the quality is poor. I threw them away. I don't know what kind of poor-quality coffee they're using. I do NOT recommend it.

I really liked the taste and it is pretty strong in caffeine so I felt energized after my morning cup. Im so glad to have gotten the opportunity to try this because I definitely will be buying this brand for my regular coffee in the future. Definitely will recommend to all my friends and family.

I’m biased because I prefer cold brew, but both had a deep strong flavor. The hot coffee didn’t have that bitterness that a lot of hot coffees seem to have. I enjoyed it, and would recommend.
