Greet active and and modern looking watch

I’ve had my Garmin for around a month. I can say that I like a lot of the features they include like the hydration tracking the sleeping tracking. The sleeping coach is also very, very useful. The strength training I love being able to track my sets how much time I take resting how much time take working now it gives me rest time that I should take and when my bmp stabilizes. Overall very good watch, sleek look and super lightweight.

Wow! I love it! Features A+

1. When walking, I can see the watch face with a constant on. I can see how my heart is doing easily when I walk. 2. Recharge Time - Quick, like when I'm taking a shower 3. Sleep Info - Never thought it was important. Comfortable to wear while sleeping. I can now see and understand better what happened in my sleep. 4. Sync with my iPhone And still learning more of the features. I bought a cheap "sports watch" last year. It's in the trash now.

The watch is intuitive, easy to customize and simple to integrate into daily life and planning. Great fit for walking, running, lifting and cycling. I refer to it often and it's helped a great deal in working towards my health goals. It's easy enough for a beginner to use, but has enough info that a seasoned athlete would benefit from it. Battery life is great, especially if you aren't using the gps feature.

Good but not perfect

I wore a Fitbit for many years and when the last one died, I replaced it with what I had hoped would be a longer lasting watch. The first Vivo5 had to be replaced because it died within the first 3 months. The second one is still around although it, too, has died on a couple of occasions, but I have been able to bring it back to life after a few, furious pushing of buttons. (Actually, the last time it died I had to do a factory reset.) That's the bad new. The good news is that the watch pairs seamlessly with my Garmin Edge 530, which is another reason I switched to Vivo5. It is rich in features, and the battery life is much better than the Fitbit. I'm not a huge fan of how a new band attaches to the face--it's kinda finicky and requires small hands--but not enough of a downer for me to consider replacing it. Overall, I am happy I switched from Fitbit to Garmin, but would really like it to be more reliable.

Ordered two, both failed in less than five days

User interface is not intuitive. Many steps to set up- like two hours to get things dialed in including four different resets. I bought two - one for my wife and one for me. After the amount of time I put into mine I returned my wife's unopened to the store. Figured I would struggle through for a few days, but now the watch face is static, even though there are multiple faces available. Found out in forums this is a known problem to Garmin. They old UI was pretty good from what I've read, but they moved a lot of functionality out of the app and onto the watch face (workout routine set up, tracking, watch faces, etc.) and this has been a disaster. I've got a third email into Garmin now, but will likely return this last one today and just be done with it. I hope others have better luck.

Comfortable, great tracking and amazing battery!

I decided to make the switch this year from a different smart watch to a Garmin. Garmin had many more tracking features for sleep, body and sports. My old watch did have sleep trackers, but by the time I was ready for bed, the watch itself would have a dead battery. My Garmin can last me up to a week and a half on one full charge, and charges to full really quickly. I love this watch, and all of the extra features (and being able to customize the face exactly how I want it) have made it the best watch for me. Would buy again, would DEFINITELY recommend.

hopeful

There are so many things I loved about this watch....I love the healrt tracking, the bike tracking the steps tracking and the encouragement I got when I was still. I really enjoyed the wearing it and the sleep tracking was awesome, The sad thing was after about 6 days the battery just would not stay charged......and then the only other thing was I could not take the golf things off.

Definitely worth the money

So I bought this because my other watch didnt track my steps well. I am very pleased with this Garmin. It tracks my steps, heart rate, O2 and my sleep. I knew I wasn't sleeping well. Now I can show my doctor my watch and prove my sleep is terrible. I can switch from left to right arm wearing but it doesn't let you put if its your dominant wrist and I wish it tracked my BP. That would be a plus. Over all I love it.

Great Running Watch

I bought my Vivoactive 5 about a month ago. After owning a Vivoactive 4 for several years, the 4 died when I couldn't get it to charge or download and execute an update. The 5 has been good thus far, I only use the running, music, and other basic features. I don't keep it on 24/7 so I cannot comment on the sleep and other features that require the user to wear the watch all the time. I enjoy the verbal announcement when each lap is completed. It is a good watch that serves its purpose well, at least for me.

Wanted something that could help track my activities (and calorie expenditure for weight loss) and it works great! I love seeing the stats after pilates and yoga. The sleep score and stress monitors have also been really interesting, and I appreciate that it tracks my cycle as well (one less thing to keep track of elsewhere). Pleasantly surprised at the battery life as well, and love that it was available in a neutral color that I can wear everyday.
