I was honestly surprised to see that the little pine tree pattern is not a water slide decal, they are actually an impression on the ceramic. Dishes are a nice satin finish and the speckled pattern is a nice touch too. Definitely plan on using for holiday festivities this year, and can’t beat that they are dishwasher safe.

I loved the snowflake pattern BUT... these were very heavy and thick for easy use. I can't imagine how heavy they'd be if filled.
