After in depth research and cruising local vendors, this model seemed the best value for the money and had the features we wanted. The real test, spending a few hours watching - that's hard to do in the store! It took a few minutes to become accustomed to the dark shadows, the sharp contrasts - more like things actually look than any tv I've seen afore. Bonus, the "LG Channels" - wow! Lots of content there. We're finding the WIFI connection working with our router without fault, the remote is easy to use. The sound leaves a bit to be desired, however, we'd planned to route the sound through to a pair of high end bookshelf speakers, so. Thanks LG!

We've had this TV for about 6 months. The picture is great and the TV itself is beautiful. The built-in menu is sparse for troubleshooting. Our troublesome issue is that it keeps losing its wifi connection. It will be running fine and then al of a sudden the picture freezes and you get the spinning wheel of death. This is because it dropped the wifi, even though the router is only about 30 feet away. You can't reconnect it in settings. The only way to recover is to unplug the tv for 30 seconds and the plug it in. Then it immediately reconnects. Very aggravating.

I have never bought an lg product tv or anything lg...but I will definitely be buying more lg oled tvs in the near tv..I use this television for gaming and occasionally watch movies.. this tv is absolutely amazing for gaming and movie watching..thanks lg great job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the C2 for a couple of months now. We like the sound and picture quality (coupled with an LG soundbar with Dolby Atmos) but the operating system (Web OS) is really frustrating. Once you enter a zip code (which you'll be prompted to do) , the fireworks Screensaver goes away never to be retrieved again. Instead, a drifting clock with weather shows up after a set amount of time. The OS comes with really nice artwork and scenery for a Screensaver and I've selected them as our setting but we never see them - only the clock. A terrible feature of this system is that, if you leave Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc paused for a while, the TV goes into sleep mode but not before switching back to the stock LG stations which we NEVER want to watch. When we wake it up, we have to go through the menu to find out streaming service and show again. Trying to use voice to search for a show on a steaming channel hasn't worked once yet. Also, I had to run an Ethernet cable to the TV because wifi would not stay connected long enough to watch even one full hour long show. Maybe I just need more time to figure all of this out but I'm a computer tech and have had many smart TVs so what does that say about the Web OS system?

Our Christmas present was LG OLEG. 55” Love the picture clarity although sometimes it's a bit over the top. I have Hulu and I don't know how to make that a default. I get a request to set up the controller as an alternative for the Hulu remote every time I sign on. I've set it up seven times and it won't stick. If you could do something about that, it would be great.

Want to highlight a hidden capability on the LG C2 that I just love. I hate the movies that are broadcast in letterbox, leaving black bands on top and bottom, that are both annoying and damaging to the screen. On the C2 if you go into the picture settings you can adjust the picture size diagonally to fill the whole screen . You lose a bit of the picture on the sides, but it is never noticeable. I programmed the function into my Harmony remote (yes, it still works with new AV equipment) and I can Expand and Restore with a push of a button. Makes me smile every time I use it. No need to repeat the comments in the other review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At this early stage ; I am still fidgeting with settings for best picture quality . Seems as if the picture up close is crystal clear but with a program that shows a long shot the effect is a little fuzzy . Maybe not latest HD broadcasting ??

This television has incredible picture quality and people buying this unit will not be unhappy. I have chosen to us a 4K Apple TV instead of the built in smart apps because of the interface itself and the ability to tightly control closed caption appearance, color and size. The LG remote controls the 4K Apple TV as well so that is a major bonus...

This purchase is an upgrade for our move after having Sharp Aquos for 15 years. Easy set up for non technical people like us. Quality in pictures and and sound are superb. Knock down one star because the mouse control function in the remote is a bit awkward.

Bought this TV less than a month ago and glad I did it. Superb picture, huge sound improvement over my old LG TV! All of my TVs are now LG: similar remote, same UI, makes it easier for the rest of family to operate! Enjoy watching the World Cup games; feels like I am over there!
