While I like my clothes to smell fresh and clean sometimes regular laundry detergent simply doesnt do that. This leaves a scent that is light and fresh and lasts a while. Also, this container is huge and will last you months. I love using this on my bedding, it adds an even more comforting effect to getting into bed. I put some of this into the wash with my roller derby gear and it completely covers that stinky sweaty smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to receive a free sample packet of Downey Unstoppables in-wash booster free from PinchMe in order to review the product. I didn’t have much knowledge of these products, even though I have seen them available on most grocery shelves. I have a front load washer and I took a “stinky” load of my teenage son’s clothing and ran a load through, also adding my typical Tide detergent also. The booster I added to the “bleach” compartment and separated the detergent into its own compartment like usual. The load came out softer, fresher smelling and brought out the scent of the softener that I had also added separately. Super simple. Just one more step and I have a load of softer, cleaner feeling and more intensity in the smell- great at blocking my son’s not so fresh smell. I would highly recommend all to at least try this once or twice and see what they think!

Even my son noticed it and liked it a lot. I really like the intensity of the scent and also how long it lasts. I’ve never used it before, but using this sample has definitely influenced me to want to start buying it and adding it to my laundry routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do my brother's laundry sometimes because he comes over alot we neighbors, and I have a baby, and I work out at crossfit. Our clothes get stinky. His teenage clothes, my baby's milk and food spoiling on towels, and my sweaty workout clothes. I used this sample on a load of towels and thought it did great lifting or neutralizing the old towel smell and replacing any detergent scents with the Downy product scent. It worked well, my brother said he would keep using it at my mom's house. I would probably use it on my workout clothes and will continue to use it on the towels. It was nice to have a fresh scent.
