It smells like clean laundry and gives our family’s towels, bed sheets and other linens a freshness that really lasts, even several days after they’ve been washed and dried. Unstoppables are easy to use and mess-free. A little goes a long way, and you can add as much as you like to achieve your desired level of freshness. The scent beads don’t seem to leave any sort of residue behind and they don’t impact the absorbency of our towels either. My wife and I use them often to enjoy all of the freshness without any mess. I like to use this product for athletic clothing i can’t put fabric softener on or towels and sheets for a fresh smell. I agree with some reviews below about them occasionally sticking on clothing. My biggest improvement is PLEASE UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS!! How am i supposed to know how much to put in each load? I never know if i am using too much or to little.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received Downy®Unstopables™, Fresh. I added to my laundry in machine. I only used a sprinkle. I love the scent it leaves on my clothes. I could not get my wet clothes in the dryer that night because I was out, The next morning I got them in dryer. They had no musty smell, which some times happens with certain detergents. This is why I usually get them in dryer pronto. But the Downy Unstoppables left my clothes smelling, so fresh and felt soft. Someone even asked what detergent I use. Love , love love it. I will make sure to always have in my laundry room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy unstopables in wash scent booster is a great product! The product that i used was the fresh scent. All I had to do was pour some of the pellets into the lid and then pour those into the washing machine with my laundry detergent. It leaves no residue and keeps your clothes smelling fresh. I highly recommend this product if you love your laundry smelling wonderful!!!

I was never big on adding scents to my wash as I figured the detergent alone usually does the trick. What is great about this product that even after it comes out of the wash and many days later the scent remains unlike regular detergents. It smells a little strong but not overpowering in the bottle and nice and fresh once clothing is washed. I often use it on bedding, towels and socks for that fresh just washed feeling. I also like that I can combine it with hypoallergenic or non-scented detergents and don't feel any skin irritation after its use. I wish it was a bit easier to portion control as you just throw in a bunch of these small bead like fragments in, if straight from the bottle I find often way more than I want comes out, so I wish the packaging was a little different. But as to quality of the product I am impressed.
