You just throw some in with your laundry and they help every thing smell fresher longer, especially towels and sheets. I didn't use anything scented with them in the dryer. I expected the smell to be strong after the dryer, like in the commercial. Nonetheless, they were fun to use and smelled amazing while they lasted.
