There was no residue leftover after my wash cycle which was an initial worry of mine. I love the scent it’s very fresh and clean and lasted quite some time. I used them on my towels and sheets/blankets and it kept them smelling fresh for a lot longer than normal methods. I didn't use anything scented with them in the dryer. I expected the smell to be strong after the dryer, like in the commercial.
