takes a long time to heat up and it did not seem very even cooking over surface of pan. My old ROC pans seemed to do a better job. Maybe there is something wrong with my cooktop?

This set arrived early, and out of the box exceeded my expectations. Packaged extremely well, not a scratch or a nick on anything. Tramontina is a great brand on its own, but would be pricey to make this set piece by piece. Make sure you know how to cook with stainless steel before purchasing! There are some tricks, but if you know what you're doing this will be a great set. And beautiful too.

I purchased this set to replace my old non-stick cookware, and I have been very pleased with the quality of it. It looks beautiful, is sturdy and easy to clean. It did take a little time to adjust my style to get the results I wanted, so you may need to be patient while you adjust, too. Be sure to heat the cookware for 2 minutes prior to adding oil and food to get the best results.

I purchased these for my daughter for a Christmas gift and gave them to her early because she was having a baby and New things would be hectic for her around that time. I wanted her to be able to get them unpacked and start using them. I just asked her how the new pants are. She said they are horrible. Everything sticks to them. I am going to check into returning them.
