Not only is it just a stunning mattress without the sheets on, it provides me with the stability that I require with my back. I find that I get all of the support that my back requires. I have always loved a firm mattress but could never find one. This Beautyrest - Silver BRS900 Extra Firm it's just what the doctor ordered! I've finally gotten a good night's rest. Most other firm mattresses say firm but then have this squishy pillow top that you fall into. All be it said, this mattress has a very small amount of pillow to it. Just enough to give you cushion, without making an indent so it feels like you're now laying in a mold ready for the kiln. I won't have to worry about the sides breaking down on this bed that's always been a very troublesome spot for me. Both my husband and I being of a larger girth, we break down mattresses pretty steadily. But this mattress is going to last us a long time. The mattress is made from quality materials. The mattress is best because it provides hour of sleep snd a good night rest. This mattress has also gotten rid of my constant back pains. This mattress is indeed Extra Firm! I ordered this mattress after having (2) pillow top mattresses over the course of 13 years. I suffered a back injury and the pillow top mattress became too soft for my liking. Decided to purchase this extra firm and it’s a bit too firm for me, lol, but I’d rather my mattress be too firm rather too soft and sinking in. However, I ordered a 3 inch gel foam mattress topper and now, I’m sleeping restfully and awaken without any pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beauty rest open seas plush is very comfortable for sleeping. It sits up quite high. I sleep really good on it. The only downside is that I sit in my bed and watch tv alot and should have gotten a slightly more firm bed as I tend to sink in a little bit when sitting a long time. It's great quality.

The only thing is I wish it wasn't white due to having small kids and messes just happen but a good mattress protector will help with this. We chose this one over a firm one since we like our mattress to be more softer and plush and this is exactly what the Beautyrest mattress is. So if you don't like the sinking in feeling then this will not be for you but like I said this is what we prefer and we have a wonderful nights sleep every night.

So far the mattress is great and I have slept well. Looking forward to having it to sleep on for many years. Just the right firmness to be comfortable but not too firm. I recommend it.

The mattress feels a bit firmer than what I would consider medium, but it’s super supportive and has enough give that you can sleep on your side.
