I replaced some mismatched 2700K lights in the kitchen with these and it looks SO much better. It's also brighter with the higher lumen output. I have these bulbs in 6 kitchen can lights and 1 bathroom can light. The other 2 bathrooms looked better with 2700K bulbs. The kitchen has 2700K GE Reveal bulbs for the pendant lights over the island (Reveal makes a huge difference on anything white), these 5000K bulbs in the cans, and a mix of 5000K and 2700K in the pantry to get the lighting just right. I recommend experimenting to find out what light works best for a room or for a particular set of light fixtures within a room. If it doesn't work, it's easy to return the bulbs for a refund. I had to do that when I tried out 5000K lighting in a living room area!

I don’t have anything to compare price of this item but I did install one and it really lite up my kitchen compared to the existing light bulbs I have installed!

We like the hue of the light from these bulbs. We have tried some different ones with the same kelvin and found slight differences in color. Longevity is another matter; they are better than other types of light but not the promised led life

I replaced 14 ceiling lights with these two years ago. I've had 8 fail already. They start flickering on/off rapidly. I keep having failures, even out of newer replacements. Very disappointed with the quality. I do not recommend.

These daylight bulbs gave off a bright "ghostly" white light in the kitchen. Bulbs just aren't bright enough. Exchanged for soft white which works much better.

We purchased a new home in March of 2022. One of the first things we did was to replace every bulb in the home, including 12 recessed lighting flood bulbs in a 20 foot high vaulted ceiling in a great room that includes a kitchen, dining room, family room, and living room. Most rooms had only 2 flood bulbs with the kitchen having the most with 4 bulbs. None of the bulbs are on for any length of time, with family and living rooms being used the most with led table lamps. Non of these led lights are used anywhere near the average as stated in Sam's descriptions. 3 weeks ago, a flood bulb quit working with no warning. This morning, a flood bulb in the kitchen quit with no warning. I have had 2 - 60 watt led bulbs fail to light right out of the box. All of these bulbs are claimed to last 13 years! I have had service from "0" to nearly "2" years. Forget the warrant as stated in fine print: If this bulb doesn't last for 5 years (based on 3 hours use per day / 7 days per week) return bulb, proof of purchase and your name to GE Lighting, Product Services, 1975 Noble Road, Cleveland, OH 44112. GE will replace your light bulb. By the time you package and ship a bulb, it will have cost you much more than the original cost! I like the led bulbs, but the poor quality and high cost of these bulbs will cost you much more than you will every save! Plus the fact, it takes a heavy duty 12 foot step ladder to replace many of these bulbs.
