they don't swell up. make sure to take off when not in water if not they'll leak. not sure if it holds pee..but for sure great for num 2s

Our Little Swimmers Swimpants are made a little differently than some of our other products… They are made with a unique absorbent material that protects, without swelling in water like diapers and training pants sometimes do. Therefore, they do not have as much absorbent capacity as a diaper. However, they should provide adequate protection against one urine incident prior to swimming. Must Have for Summer

Great fit, easy off and on for slippery baby. I loved that it stayed put when taking in and out of swim seat/floating in pool. Summer was a blast.

Easy to put on and does well in water. Only thing id like to be fixed would be the tabs on the sides. Id like for them to be bigger !
