Being a new mom, I never knew there were special swimmer diapers for babies. In my head, I imagine they used regular diapers which just inflated with water like a life preserver. One thing I did learn post humously is that these diapers do not stop leaks. I guess that's how it is suppose to work. So they cannot be interchanged with regular diapers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in wisconsin, so the testing of these swim diapers was 20 minutes in the bathtub! I can definitely say these will work wonderfully for in summer when at the beach. They fit comfortably and lasted at least the 20 mins in the tub.

I took my 2year old to a splash park today and used Little Swimmers diapers. We had just gotten out of the car and before he even hit the water his legs and feet were wet. I tried to adjust the diaper to make sure it was on securely and it seemed fine. I noticed that the back of his shirt was wet too. Not only did the diaper not absorb, it held all the liquid in and it would splash out of the diaper as he walked. I had to change him into a regular diaper and wash us both off. I have the rest of the package left and its not worth using them.

My son loves to go swimming. I use the swimmers for him. They work great! They dont hold the water from the pool or beach. My only advice would be wait to put them on when you are at the pool or beach because if your son/daughter go potty it will go right through and soak them!

We have used these for all three of our kids and although they hold in #2 very well..they dont hold the urine. We really dont have a problem with this but then again they are still basically peeing in the pools (like everyone else Im sure). I wished there was a way that they could hold in the urine better without it swelling. Other than this small complaint, they work great!

I found this product to be terrible for my daughter. My husband put one of these swim diapers on her to put her in pool for the first time. She was only wearing if for maybe a couple of hours tops and her little bum broke out. Over the next few days it got really bad, a few parts of her skin was peeling off, causing her to be raw in a few areas.

I love these but let's be honest what kind of competition is out there for a disposable swim diaper. They function well and do the job. They don't balloon up like regular diapers do when you forget to take them off before the pool!! The Velcro on the sides could be a bit more flexible to provide a better fit. Overall I would purchase again.

I like the cute design. Helpful for the husband who are not able to determine front and back because of the little bow. Just wish they would not retain as much water. Nothing like having your child in a pool who wts 20lbs and when you pull them out you now have a child who wts about 40lbs because of the water wt.

These are wonderful. I know they've been out for a few years. But, I've only recently been introduced to them. They are wonderful! They absorb at the perfect level and don't weigh the little ones down, yet contain everything perfectly. They are package of miracles! I would definitely recommend.
