The dessert plate is made out of a very strong recycled material and fulfills practically all normal needs of a platter while still being environmentally friendly.

We didn't put a lot of stuff on the dish however they were elegant looking and fit right in with everything else that we had that was glass. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that these are earth friendly recycled products. I do like them for things like peanuts, pretzels, small snack things. However you can't really put anything wet or anything with moisture because it leaks right through.
