They were definitely different thats for sure I almost didn't want to throw it away. I was tempted to wash and reuse but overall I did like these plates.

We used them recently at a birthday party and they worked out flawlessly. The one question we got was "Are these recyclable?" I looked at the package and it doesn't say on there, so I wasn't sure. I hope so! I generally prefer to just use our regular plates and wash them afterward, but our guest list overpowered our stock of regular plates and these came in handy and were easy to work with. I especially loved that they were firm and there was no danger of anything leaking, or bending in the middle, or flopping over.

They are the perfect size for toddler snacks, and they are dye-free plates made from natural fibers, so they are safe for little ones and for the environment. When it comes to paper plates, quality is important, because often paper plates aren't strong enough for certain foods: but these plates won't leak. These plates are an exception. They are super strong, and we put our little guy's applesauce on them without any problems.
