Works well back up batteries for sump pump

So I bought this August 2024 Used it in the Trailer 1 camping trip Closed everything up for the winter like every winter Unplug everything Cover , etc... May 2025 Plug into charger, figure some loss over the winter but should not be anything crazy a deep cycle battery can't take (mind you at only 6mo old) Well, looks like it is 10.9v ok Check following day , still sitting there ... Unplug it, 8.1v Plug normal not trickle charger in and it is no different. Test it , jumps 8-15v Bad battery , No it's not on concrete, Yes it's in. Aplastic Cary case Yes I unbolted leads. Let's see what this 12mo warranty covers ...

From brand new, used only one time on my boat, then the battery does not accept charge. Diagnosis, bad cell.

Maybe I got lucky here but I’ve been running this Group 24 deep cycle in my Jon boat for 3 years now without a hitch. I use it as my cranking battery and it also triples as power for a 12v tiller trolling motor and my accessory power (lights, fish finder, etc…) Considering the amount of load and heavy usage this battery gets I have been very impressed with how long it has lasted. I run a pro mariner on board charger to condition and charge the batteries then put them inside in a temp controlled environment in the winter months while staying on the conditioner/charger. The fate of my Duracell group 31 deep cycles was not the same, if you’d like to check out my other review on that product but this group 24 is still trucking!

Perfect size for my Yamaha 90 two stroke on my bay boat. It works.
