This product is just one in a family of Roombas I have had over the years. This one operates from an app. It is a thorough and tenacious robot which, no matter how much the floor has recently been cleaned, manages to come back home “full”. Two adults, one cat and one dog must leave a perpetual trail of debris behind them. I recommend this product for folks downsizing with a smaller living area. However, certainly this model is up to the task of a larger area.

This Robo vac seems to do what it is supposed to do, and so far it has done a good job for us. I've only used it for a few weeks, but it is good at what it does, and it is especially good at picking up Pet hair on carpets as well as hardwood floors.

Why did I not buy this sooner? I just love coming home to my floors already vacuumed. It was super easy to set up, and exceeded my expectations, even going over thresholds and area rugs. Learned that any "eXtra" items or small rugs should be cleared from floor. Picked up far more than I expected! Does need to be emptied after every run, but we have a large 1st floor It gets really well under tables and taller furniture and in places in only get to about once a month. A few errors with the first training run to learn my floor plan, but much quicker now that is has learned. I am hoping I can connect it to my Alexa soon and see all the capacities this unit has.

I've bought several different versions but this one is great. I love that it sends a message if it gets stuck or if dirt container is full.

This one is noisy, stops/pauses where I'm thinking is it working or what, but then it starts again. The app is to program start but can't find how to stop unless I do manually. I like my old one better. I only ordered a new one because my old one sounds like the motor is going to go kaput.

My previous Roomba(older, basic model), I absolutely LOVED!! I thought I would "upgrade" when my old one bit the dust. This one was terrible! It had a mind of it's own - sometimes it would decide to clean when on the cleaning cycle, other times, it would roam around not suctioning. The i1 would clean in an area, move on to another area and then come back to the previous area and start over. It did not go to certain areas of my house. Sometimes I would put my own boundary up, like a barstool or something, because it had already cleaned that area numerous times in one cycle and the Roomba would keep trying to get in the area, bumping my boundary for 10-15 minutes. So frustrating! One good things about it - t was smart enough to not get stuck like my old one did. I returned it to Sam's -which has excellent customer service- and ended up getting a newer version of my old model-694. So far so good!

I wouldn't buy it again. It's slow, and seems to get stuck pretty often. It does vacuum, and does an acceptable job.

I am very disappointed with this Roomba. I have one in my other house that still works great after 5 years and this one started acting up after a week. It would vacuum for a few minutes and next thing I know I'm getting notifications on my phone and it's headed back to the base. I mostly got the message to empty the bin, but the bin was not full. I called tech support and they walked me through cleaning the sensors and resetting the machine but ultimately the problem continued. iRobot said they would replace the unit but, I'm not sure I believe that either.

Doesnt comnect through the app with either iphone or android. Doesn't learn the house. It cleans one room and doesnt want to leave the room.

When it works it does a good job but I have to reboot it almost every time I use it . called IRobot they are sending me a replacement
