I didn't want a solid block...I wanted quarters

great product. This is what I buy whenever I can. I can add salt to my dish without having to worry about dietary needs of my guests.

This butter is excellent and I love the big blocks! People evidently aren't reading the box correctly - it clearly says 1 lb. blocks, not sticks. I actually prefer the Elgin style!

I love this butter. I loved Elgin solids. They are so convenient for cooking and baking. I actually love this better than the imported green label product which is much more costly. My family likes the buttery taste in the savory dishes and baked products I fix for them, too.

Bought this by mistake thinking it was sticks. It taste like butter and adds a buttery flavor to my baked goods. No idea how I'm gonna store it though since I have no butter dishes. Only buy this if you have a food scale and can measure it out for baking.

Butter is hard as a rock, even after setting out. If you try to soften it part melts the rest stays hard. Flavor sucks! Maybe we got a bad batch in light of all the good reviews but we threw this in the trash! We've never had a bad product at Sam's and will continue to patronize them.
