Member's Mark Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter Block, 1 lb., 4 ct.

No taste

The quality of this butter is way better, to me, than the salted quarters that Sam's also sells.  That one to me tastes so bland and is waxy or plasticky.  These melt so smoothly and are really creamy.  There is a noticeable difference to me when making cookies with this kind compared to the sticks.

Good price and quality, however this is great for when baking in the masses, not everyday usage. Not pre-cut.

I didn’t know these were 1 lb blocks of butter and not 4 sticks. It has a 4 on the box, very misleading.

It is frustrating that the only option most of the time for unsalted butter is this solid option. Please bring back the sticks.

Bring back unsalted STICKS

Very disappointed the butter was not available in four cubes, not a block, makes it very difficult to measure for recipes.

Solid butter

This butter has a weird taste this the second time buying it and just to see if the first time was bad. But this second time was the same, will not buy again

Odd flavor

I debated between this and another butter offered by Sam's Club, finally deciding on this one. When I grabbed it to start my holiday cooking I noticed it is not sticks as I normally purchase but was once big block of butter. That is great if I was a professional cook but my recipes are in sticks of butter. I managed to cut the block into fourths and still use it in my recipes and it was fine, just another step. As for the quality, I think it is a great deal for the price. I think next time I will skip it however because I prefer the sticks. Still, it is the same quality as the sticks. I wish the labeling was a bit clearer that these were the big blocks so I would know not to choose this package.
