[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Call me surprised! first off was the easy open top ..no can opener needed I brought the can with me to work as a lunch.. Opened the can put it into a bowl and microwaved it for 2 minutes... Very nice rich smell and consistency. Identifable meat and vegatables. It tasted much better that I expected a nice rich broth/gravy that was not overly salty. I just say I enjoyed the flavors the veggies retrain their own as did the meat. I will be adding this into my bring in lunch rotation.... It will be an excellent choice for the cold winter days coming. a nice way to warm me up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this as a quick meal on a night when my wife was not at home and I just didn't feel like cooking. This stew had very good flavor, the meat was tender, and the carrots and potatoes completed the stew perfectly. What I didn't like about it is there is a very high sodium content. While I know that most foods taste better when salt is added this product contains almost half of the recommended daily allowance which is very high. Doesn't leave a lot of room for the other two meals or any snacks. Overall I would eat this again but would only purchase once in awhile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great flavor and texture, but its nutritional makeup makes it something my family and I would only eat on occasion as it is pretty unhealthy. That being said though, it tasted like food used to taste when I was a boy and flavor was what ruled the day. Certainly a wonderful, rich flavor and boy does it stick to your ribs!

I was pleasantly surprised that this was really good and only took two minutes of preparation to be ready to eat. This will be great for a quick office lunch or the like. The only issue I noted was the gravy was kind of thin, which might have been thickened by using stove top instead of microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the beef stew as part of a sampling box and I wasn't expecting much as I'm generally not a fan of beef stew. This will definitely do a pinch, however as it is quick to make and will fill you up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hearty chunks of beef and potatoes with a thick stew made this a satisfying quick meal. Obviously it's from a can so isn't going to match a day long crockpot simmered homemade concoction - but hit the spot for a speedy hunger fulfillment.

I too had 3 or 4 cans that had potatoes that were rotten and black. I had to lose almost all of the potatoes in one can. I have bought the stew from different stores and two separate months. The quality control is obviously slacking if that many bad potatoes got through to be cooked and canned. Sadly, i am not sure I will buy any more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dinty Moore is a great comfort food for the winter months. My family enjoys it with grilled cheese sandwiches. It has a rich taste and fairly thick consistency. I wish they used stew meat instead of hamburger however.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free in exchange for my honest review. I've been eating Dinty Moore Beef Stew for decades! I've always loved the flavors of the gravy, the tenderness of the meat, the chunks of potatoes and carrots, just like home made! The recipe has changed little over the years and I love that about it. Why fix something if it isn't broken! Add a biscuit, and glass of milk and you have yourself a complete meal! I look forward to eating this for years to come.
