[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying Dinty Moore Beef Stew for years. I am single and a terrible cook so it hits the spot when I crave a hot, home-made tasting meal and don't want to deal with cooking it myself. I know I could not duplicate the flavor and smooth texture of the gravy. There is plenty of meat and it's always tender. The potatoes are always perfect too..well done without being mushy. There is plenty of stew in the 20 oz can I've always bought. It makes two meals for me. I received a sample package which included the 15 oz Dinty Moore Beef Stew. It tasted just as delicious as the bigger version. After consuming two thirds of the sample I was full. Then I got hit with the "just-one-more-spoonful" bug and before I knew it my bowl was empty. It really was more than I usually eat at one meal but probably the perfect amount for others. It appears I am a 10 oz-a-meal Dinty Moore Beef Stew kind of woman. I have not seen the 15 oz can in the store. Perhaps it's always been there but I just reach for the 20 oz one. The price for that one has remained affordable on my fixed income. I'm sure the 15 oz would cost less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved Dinty Moore Hearty Meals Beef Stew. It certainly gets stars out of 5 stars. It was very easy to prepare, and for that I was thankful. I love the pop off cap that was nice I'm very convenient. The taste was excellent. It seemed as if I had slaved over cooking it for hours because it was really good, and the smell in the kitchen was divine. I will always buy this product. And I do recommend it to everyone.

Just the right amount when you only have to cook for 1 or 2. Save you all the time it would of taken to peel and dice potatoes and cooking the meat till it's tender and good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i just heated it up and added a little more seasons (after all i am from louisiana where we had a little food to our seasons) the stew had plenty of meat and potatoes and gravy. it tasted great and a can of it was more than i could eat. just take it out of the can and pot in micowave a couple of minutes and it is ready.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've heard of Dinty Moore Beef Stew, but never tried it before. The gravy has a nice flavor but could use a bit of pepper. The vegetables were tender as were the small pieces of beef. I personally think the sodium is high at 990 mg per serving but if someone isn't restricting their sodium amounts, they will like this stew as a lunch or as part of a dinner with additional sides. I'm not sure I would buy it again but I would recommend it if asked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was really good, ). I have not had a canned entree since I was a kid and those were not so good. I was pleasantly surprised that this was really good and only took two minutes of preparation to be ready to eat. This will be great for a quick office lunch or the like. The only issue I noted was the gravy was kind of thin, which might have been thickened by using stove top instead of microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the same product that I remember eating as a child. Don't get me wrong. It's still good, but it seems a little more salty than I remember. It's very good when you combine it with some rice, for a nice, quick, filling meal during the week.

What happened? I was so looking forward to my can of beef stew in a recent camping trip. Dingy Moore has been a camping staple for atleast 3 generations in family but I have to sadly say won't be any longer. If you go back to the amazing beef chunks and recipe we will be back but until then..I'm sorry to have to say goodbye :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was better than the stew I had in the past. It's not homemade but it is a good substitute on a day you don't have time to make your own. The only thing I would change is just a little more beef.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's definitely hearty. I microwaved it, which I usually don't do, because I swear that it tastes better when heated on the stovetop. But it was actually quite delicious. The stew broth was dark and meaty without being overpowering.
