I made a special trip to the store to buy some Dinty Moore Beef Stu that I hadn't bought in over a decade. I was really excited until I opened the can and found it mostly contained potatoes. What a disappointment! Needless to say, I won't ever buy Dinty Moore Potato Stu again.

Like so many others have stated, the real beef chunks have disappeared. We now get what I would describe as processed, cheap tasting pressed meatballs. Take away the tender "real" beef chunks and the rich gravy goes with it! So sad that we old timers are constantly being deprived of our old time favorites as companies use cheaper processed ingredients. I feel sad for the younger generations who think this is "real" food!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this over rice. Just warmed it through and spooned over the rice. It's changed a lot in the past 20 years i feel. I remember big chunks of beef but this was more mushy. I'm all not bad for a quick throw together dinner.

The product was pretty good. The meat was tender, and gravy pretty flavorful without being too salty. I wish the veggies were a little firmer, and the gravy a little thicker.

My children kept asking for more and more so we took a trip to the store and go a few cans. This is incredibly yummy, I kept stealing spoon fulls from my hubs bowl. (Yup I'm that wife ‍♀️) my husband couldn't believe I go this for FREE, because I'm always couponing and spending. I can not thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to try this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had heard of Dinty Moore products before participating in this program, but had never tried them...and was a bit skeptical about trying a canned meat product. However, I was very pleased with the overall flavor, texture, and nutritional quality of the Dinty Moore Beef Stew. Although a bit too salty for my taste, the flavors were rich and hearty, the vegetables were plentiful, the meat was generous and had a very pleasing texture (it was like real meat...not mushy), and the gravy was just the right volume and consistency. It was a very enjoyable and filling meal! I would buy it again! and would recommend the Dinty Moore Beef Stew to others.

I have grown up on Dinty Moore Beef Stew. There used to be so much meat, that I used to wish there were more potatoes and carrots. Be careful what you wish for. I now refer to it as Irish Stew, nothing but potatoes. It is sad how a company can put making money ahead of product quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was better than the stew I had in the past. It's not homemade but it is a good substitute on a day you don't have time to make your own. The only thing I would change is just a little more beef.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this as a quick meal on a night when my wife was not at home and I just didn't feel like cooking. This stew had very good flavor, the meat was tender, and the carrots and potatoes completed the stew perfectly. What I didn't like about it is there is a very high sodium content. While I know that most foods taste better when salt is added this product contains almost half of the recommended daily allowance which is very high. Doesn't leave a lot of room for the other two meals or any snacks. Overall I would eat this again but would only purchase once in awhile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprisingly good taste from a can, and over 10 Grams of Protein too! There were only 5 small chunks of meat, in the two serving can, so I would suggest dividing it accordingly. Also, I would make some biscuits to go along with it, if you want it to come closer to a meal, but in a pinch, with no time to prepare a meal, this will be good to have on the shelf!
