I grew up on this beef stew. Now there's no beef chunks but the same price for carrot and potato gravy?! Bye!!!

This works out great for me with a microwave cup at work. The gravy is tasty. It's not bad for lunch from a can!

Back when I did my own cooking a can of Dinty Moore Stew over some egg noodles made a good meal. Now this stew is not edible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dinty Moore Beef Stew is definitely thicker than most canned soups I've tried. It contains beef, potatoes, and carrots all bite size and tender. I definitely like the fact it contains 10g of protein however I am disappointed in the 990mgs of sodium. The sodium I feel dominates the soups flavor. That said I did finish the soup to the last drop and look forward to trying the other Dinty Moore products.

The meat was ground beef which isn't bad but isn't what I expect when I think of beef stew. It was well seasoned, but a little heavy on the salt which seems to be the norm for canned products. Overall, it was good for a quick meal, but not something I would buy very often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a long time since I've made homemade stew (high price of stew meat) but I don't think that I have ever tried canned beef stew before. I enjoyed the taste of Dinty Moore Beef Stew! It was seasoned well. I usually like to add my own seasonings/herbs to prepared or canned foods but I really didn't need to add any to this beef stew. My husband also liked the taste of this but said it needed more meat in it. Next time I would probably use two cans for us and add some mushrooms too. However this beef stew was good on its own though there were carrots in it which I don't really like. The carrots weren't overwhelming so that wasn't a big problem for me. I would definitely recommend Dinty Moore Beef Stew to anyone looking for a quick good tasting meal.
