I have always used Morton Salt for my water softener

Good price for Watersoftener salt and 40 pounds with a handle makes it easier to bring in from my garage to my laundry room.

Ordered one brand and got this which is not 100% pure salt. Since it was for a fish pond I have to use this in my water softener instead;
