It’s rock salt, it melts the ice. Good price for 40 pounds. The handle makes it easy to use.

These are like little salt "rocks"! So far so good!

This water softener works really well. The crystals seem to last much longer than the pellet form.

Use Morton Crystals for soft water, skin, hair, clothes.

Use this salt monthly on my water tank system and it really helps softening our well water.

Too heavy for me to pick up.
