Metal box with wood slats. Assebly required. Can be done with 1 person if you have sawhorses to use. It took me 30 minutes to assemble with 2 bad hips and shooting pain up my back. I would buy again. Just match numbers together. 1 to 1. 2 to 2. Comes with a couple mini tools.
