Looks great in my garden. Water does come out slow but I hooked up a soaker hose and works great.

I love this rain barrel.

True it cost quite a bit to have to modify it, but looking at the previous reviews I concur with the top spigot leaking, so I used clear silicone caulking to stop that problem. The grate is entirely too small so I resolved that issue by putting an expandable downspout directly into the hole, covering the end with a mesh cloth. No, we should not have to do all of that. Otherwise it looks great in the space I have it in. I added a 5 x 16“ silicone tube to drain the overflow pocket into a bucket.

Bought 3 rain barrels. Very nice design. But no access to inside barrel and valves supplied are useless due to poor 45 degree design for a gravity fed system. Valve seat blocks flow of water. Had to purchase 6 new quarter turn valves to correct the problem. Contacted Good Idea’s Manufacturing and they said nothing they could do about it and to contact Sam’s Club.

This rain barrel made my day all summer last year. Over the winter it cracked on the bottom so we have to get another one just like it since we made a hole in the downspout to fit in the side of the rain barrel. We will keep it in the garage next winter instead of outside and hope for the best!

I have a similar style. The construction of the top causes overflow rain to pour out the top and down the front onto my porch. There should be an overflow spout or something in the back. The grate is tight and not much rain flowed inside the barrel so I removed it.

Rain barrel leaks thought it was where tap was retightened notice wine water got to halfway point where top spigot was it started leaking again noticed plastic plug that was tapped for plug not caulked
