[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Burt’s bees night time cough syrup is a good product. It is healthier than most and uses honey. The night time version helps settle cough so they can get some rest. It gives me piece of mind, to give my children this product.

The taste was not good and almost unbearable. It does help with soothing the cough but getting it down is the hard part.

They like the taste but it didn't work well for our family.

My son who happened to have a cough when I received this really didn't like it so he wouldn't try it more than once. It seemed to help a little but I'm not quite sure as to the effectiveness to be honest. As an adult I tried it and agreed that the taste was a bit harsh. Based on the ingredients I'm also not sure if this really works better than more "regular stuff". However, I give it back one star in the rating because Burt's Bee's get a lot of credit for producing something that is more natural and without dyes, alcohol, or chemicals. And as always, the packaging is appealing to kids and adults alike.

Shortly after giving it to my kids, they coughed a lot less and seemedto sleep better. Unfortunately, I cannot get my kids to take it. The taste is bad and it is so thick that it is hard to get it all out of the measuring cup.
