The pillow top gives you the extra comfort and softness. The mattress is nice and tall so i did not need to use my box spring, my regular sheets fit on the mattress with no problem as well as a mattress protector. It is very comfortable and will give our guest some extra space. My hips were sore the other night so I thought I would try the new mattress. I have a medium pillow top Silver BRS900C. At first I thought it was a bit hard, but then settled into it. I got one of the best night's sleep I have had in a long time, and my hip was without pain in the morning. I have spent several nights on it over the past week and am thinking of making it the master bedroom mattress.

This mattress is firm but not rock hard; it's a great balance. It is also a very thick/deep mattress, so make sure your sheets are deep or they might not fit. Another great feature is that it has handles on the sides for easy moving. I received this item for free in exchange for my review.
