These are good swim diapers to go under a suit or swim trunks, but they are no match for a dedicated, washable/reusable swim diaper. I have made the mistake twice of putting my child in one of these before heading to the pool, and he leaked badly. Same thing when we put a diaper on with intention of swimming, but then got delayed. Leaks everywhere. I would recommend putting these on RIGHT before getting in the water and not a minute before.

Working in a daycare can be quite busy, and for that we have a schedule for checking and changing diapers every two hours. All usually goes fine other than the occasional runny BM that squirts out the side of a diaper. But there is a child who is brought into daycare a huggies swimmer about once a month, and every single time it leaks through. I understand that pools are chlorinated so a little urine in the pool is of little worry, at least it catches the solids that other diapers let float out. My brother absolutely loves the Huggies swimmer, but he uses them just for that...Swimming!

Huggies little swimmers fit snuggly around legs and butt making leaks nearly impossible. The designs make children want to wear them and they are stylish enough that if you forgot the swimsuit just wearing the swimmers diaper will do. The tear away sides are great for getting them off of wet skin.

I used a store brand swimmer 4 years ago in my mothers pool and was disappointed. Soon after Nanny fished out her pool surprise. The following weekend Nanny purchased Huggies Little Swimmer and now with baby #2 they are still holding strong. Also used at the beach and when the size fits well it really helps with the sand issue.

I honestly prefer Pamper's swim diapers to Huggies Little Swimmers. A big difference is the absorbing zone in Pampers goes from top of the front to top of the back. It only goes half way through the diaper on Huggies. We had horrible problems with leaking even before getting to swim with Huggies Little Swimmers....makes me fear how much is actually leaked into the pool!

Indeed it was very nice to realize we had a massive explosion while wearing this kind of swimmer last summer. It was super hard to take off without dragging the mess over my son's legs on the way off, though. And don't forget--these are great holding number two. They're not meant to hold in number one (speaking from experience).

I use Little Swimmers when one of my female dogs go into heat. Just cut a hole for the tail and everybody is good to go! I don't have to worry about blood drops and stains on my floors or furniture, and I don't have to worry about accidental incidents with any male dogs as they make for a great birth control barrier the boys can't get to them even if they try. If the girls have an accident either #1 or #2, I use Huggies wipes for a fast clean-up if I don't have the time to give them a proper bath at that particular moment. Hope this alternative use help some other mom's or dad's out there who not only worry about their human baby's, my is 11 now, so the dog's have become my babies now too. Good Luck hope this helps someone else out there that might have the same problem I did until I discovered "alternate" uses for the Huggie's products I used on my son when he was the only baby in my home.

I couldnt stand to see babies with saggy wet diapers in the pool or at the beach so when I had my first child I used these! What a GREAT product!! I buy these as baby shower gifts also bc I think no baby deserves to walk around is a soaked wet saggy diaper while at the beach! You gotta look good right? lol

I used these for my daughter 7 years ago and for my son today! They work great in the water and dont blow up like regular diapers do yet still absorb everything they need to. I love that they are marked front and back with the tear away sides for easy removal! Great product!

It's not summer without Little Swimmers and they seem to do a good job. The only down side that I see is I really wonder how much they catch. We put my son in one before swimming and then ended up not swimming right away and he went number 1 and there was pee everywhere.
