We tried the Pampers brand of swim diapers, and they just don't compare. Huggies are by far the more absorbent of the two and don't swell at all. The Pampers had to be changed more often, and would still swell a little. Buy these, you won't regret it!

The diapers are great if you swim, go to the pool or the ocean alot. They really aren't absorbant but they do prevent the "leaks" that would happen if your child peed in his/her swimsuit without any diaper. God help you if your child poops in them though - what a mess!! Our state requires children in swimmy diapers to also wear rubber pants on top of the diapers (but under their swimsuit). That's a good way to keep the poop (which really just smears and liquifies) from leaking out of the diaper and into the water. The rip down sides make it easy to get the diaper off a wet child but, especially if there is poop in the diaper, there is no way to wrap up and seal the diaper (like you do with the velcro tabs on a regular diaper). So, be near the garbage can when you take these off!!!

Working in a daycare can be quite busy, and for that we have a schedule for checking and changing diapers every two hours. All usually goes fine other than the occasional runny BM that squirts out the side of a diaper. But there is a child who is brought into daycare a huggies swimmer about once a month, and every single time it leaks through. I understand that pools are chlorinated so a little urine in the pool is of little worry, at least it catches the solids that other diapers let float out. My brother absolutely loves the Huggies swimmer, but he uses them just for that...Swimming!

I love these , but more importantly my daughter loves these.They are great for the water and I love that they help her swimsuits not ride up .They come in all of her favorite characters so it is never hard to get her to wear them.In fact she loves to put these on.

The obsorb great without leaving a huge bulge and spilling out everywhere if you've put your kid in water with a regular diaper you know what I'm talking about! I took my baby swimming alot this summer and these were great. They don't fill up with water like regular diapers do. I just wish they came in a smaller size my baby was only a month old when we first took her swimming so it's a good thing she was a big baby. The only other draw back is you don't want to put them on too early before swimming since they don't swell they also do not absorb as well and she leaked a few times. May have been because they were pretty big on her also.

They are definitely a staple that every parent should have in their diaper bag for times when you need to get wet!!

I have used Little Swimmers with both my children and will continue to use them and recommend them. They don't swell up and don't leak (ok, if you aren't in the pool and your child pees, you'll probably get wet). They are comfortable and affordable. Yet another Huggies success!!

I have always used these Little Swimmer's Swimpants with my kids. They were comfortable and cute and my kids felt free to move around in them when they were playing in the pool. However, be warned that swimpants are not meant to absorb #1! I have carried my kids in my arms while they were wearing these and when they peed, it leaked all over me! It does it's job in the water though! They are made tough to hold in what matters!
