they don't swell up. make sure to take off when not in water if not they'll leak. not sure if it holds pee..but for sure great for num 2s

Our Little Swimmers Swimpants are made a little differently than some of our other products… They are made with a unique absorbent material that protects, without swelling in water like diapers and training pants sometimes do. Therefore, they do not have as much absorbent capacity as a diaper. However, they should provide adequate protection against one urine incident prior to swimming. Couldn't make it through summer without them

These are durable and easy to get on and off. We only used up one pack during our week long beach trip. They are perfect!

went without - once
