Living in south Florida, couldn't be without these. I hang them in every closet and the laundry room. Last about a month in the summer. About 2 months in the winter

I’ve used DampRid in my basement in the past and been very pleased with it. They have changed the fragrance and I can’t stand it, it makes my whole basement smell. Go back to the old fragrance!

This works great trapping moisture in the bag. The only problem is that some of the crystals drop down into the water collecting part of the bag. I don't think this affects anything other than over time discoloring the water collected to a murky yellow .

I use these throughout a summer cottage that stays closed up between usage. The work so well keeping humidity down and therefore controls and eliminates mildew. I use both scented ones and I scented. Sams has the 4 pack hanging ones, usually they are sold 3/pk.
