Living in Florida, we have a lot of humidity so putting these in my closet has been a lifesaver. The smell they give off isn't too bad either. It helps to keep the moisture out and the smell makes things seem nice and fresh.

The scent is clean and fresh but I am unable to smell it unless there is moisture in the air. That works for me great. I love that everything is self contained. It makes set up and disposal easy.
