I already use the Downy fabric softener though so I'm not sure that it adds. If I weren't using the softener though I would definitely use the boosters. This is going to be my go to for my elderly aunt's clothes because she's very sensitive to the scents and has very sensitive skin. Love that we have this option for her and others with allergens but still want to enjoy the fresh, clean, scents in their laundry. Simply just add the scent beads in with detergent and your clothes prior to washing laundry. I have decided I prefer slightly stronger scent beads but if mild scents are more your speed these are perfect for you!
