Because they have a stretchy fit, it may be possible to use a smaller size. The absorbent area of the panties seem adequate to handle most "accidents".

I tested them by pouring water in them just to see how they would absorb and hold. I even twisted them a bit to see how sitting and movement would effect them. Score! They worked beautifully. I think the correct size on these would be very discreet under your clothes.

Upon opening the package, I found the underwear look much like a diaper or pull up. I put it on and it felt really bulky, I felt like I was wearing a diaper! It did do it’s job in terms of keeping me dry and smelling fresh. I personally don’t think these are for me!
