Started on first pull. Has performed well the first week or so. My only complaint, and the reason for 4 stars and not 5, is that the unit is so compact and low to the ground I pretty much have to carry it instead of using the wheels. I'm 6'-5" tall and the handle is way too low. An extension to raise the handle 12 +/- inches would be very easy for Simpson to design and offer as an accessory. Please do this.

Bought this as my first machine to start my pressure washing business. The motor is working great as Hondas do, the pump worked fine for the first maybe 80 hours. Going through first oil change/maintenance and I just have to replace the check valves so not terrible. Never a problem to start as long as you don’t run it out of gas. Good distance with long range tip, but if you’re going to spend any more than this, just get a softwash system.

I bought this in January this year. PROS It is surprisingly powerful. It cleans concrete like magic. It starts very easily, and idles correctly It is easy to wheel around CONS The wand has no way of holding open the trigger, and cannot be placed in a manner to do so. This means when starting the motor you have to hold the trigger while pulling the starter. A minor inconvenience.

Great pressure washer with a Honda engine and a AAA pump. Much better than a Ryobi or similar that is either made in China or has parts that are made in China. This thing is a BEAST ! It will clean anything that an average homeowner will need. It is much quieter than the Ryobi that I previously owned. I received very good support from Simpson before and after my purhase. I chose Simpson because I wanted something that wouldn't quit on me after a few years of homeowner use. Simpson's reputation for quality and support is the reason I chose to purchase this item.
