Engine had issue with excessive fuel filling cylinder flooding and causing hydrolock. Took unit to local authorized repair shop and waiting to hear back.

I purchased it last month and im using it to power wash my deck before I re stain it . It was easy to assemble and started right up n its doing an awesome job of removing years of weathering from the wood.

I bought a Simpson ps3228 a week ago and next did some pressure washing to test it out. I chose Simpson for it's reliable Honda engine, it started on first pull out of the box. Glad I bought it Simpson with Honda engine

It is coming on winter when I bought it. I brought it home, got it prepped and it started on the 2nd pull. Ran it for an hour, shut it down, and inspected everything. Everything checked out. Started it up again, (3 pulls this time. Ran gas stabilizer through it, shut it down, ran pump guard through the pump, put it in storage and covered it up. Spring will be the real test!!!

Handle holes would not line up. Had to cut 3/8 inch off of the bottom of the handle and repaint. After doing that it fix fine. Sifvon valve worked for the first 30 minutes then stopped working. I am so disgusted I could not finish washing the back of the house. I just put it in the garage and will work on it when I get a chance. Motor works fine. I would not purchase another Simpson product.

I struggled with the initial start-up, which I think was the low oil cut-off. The next day, armed with a better understanding of the proper oil level and fresh 4 gallons of stabilized, ethanol-free gas, t followed the directions exactly and it cranked, and worked great. I want to thank the ‘You-tube’ community that added clarity to the directions. One personal complaint is the low profile design that is not great with my 6’3” body.
