Good pressure washer but.......

Bought this pressure washer at a local Sam's club. This is a professional model with lots of power and features and should be dependable. I used today for about 6 hours straight with no problems. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the quality of the pressure hose and gun. I can guarantee that no professional would use this washer with the provided gun/hose. When I opened the box and pulled out the gun and hose I was so disappointed I almost returned it. But I knew this was a good washer so the next day I went to a local hardware store to get a gun/hose worthy of the washer's quality. I did use the provided wand though. One other minor issue is the the nozzle holder. Even though it looks good when not in use the nozzles fall out as soon as you start the machine. It is an embarrassing design flaw but doesn't affect the performance of the machine. I just put the nozzles in my pocket when using it and in a plastic bag when storing.

The ultimate machine

The PowerShot PS60843 49-State is an absolute beast of a machine. From the first use, you can tell it’s built for serious work. The pressure is strong and consistent, making it easy to clean driveways, sidewalks, siding, and heavy grime without struggling. It starts up reliably and runs smooth, even during longer jobs. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the mobility makes it easy to move around job sites. It definitely saves time and delivers professional-level results. If you’re serious about pressure washing—whether for business or home use—this machine is worth every dollar.

Exceeds Expectations

I have had this machine for all of 1 day, but I can tell you it starts faster and exceeds expectations for power level. I am upgrading from a different brand, but with a Honda motor. It started brand new on 2nd pull. No choke was needed and it was 55 degrees outside. This is Florida and that is cold. I am able to now reach the 2nd floor with both cleaner and rinse. Highly recommend.

A great pressure washer for the price.

I have used the pressure washer for about 10 hours to clean very dirty decks and a driveway and it worked very well. Great pressure and very easy to operate. The only negatives are the 25 ft. hose is too short for most applications, I had to get a 50 footer. It is shipped with a bottle of oil for the motor and the full bottle will not fill it to the full level on the motor. I was also confused about the 2 oil fill and 2 oil drain plugs on the machine. There was no mention of these in the directions to put oil into the motor. So other than these couple of issues it is a great pressure washer.

Great News

The Simpson PS60843 is a beast. With 4400 PSI and 4.0 GPM, it cleans concrete, driveways, and heavy grime fast without having to linger. It runs smoothly, feels solid, and is clearly built for professional or heavy-duty use. Definitely more power than a typical homeowner needs, but if you want speed and real results, this pressure washer delivers.

Simpson Powershot - 3200 PSI

Best value available. Same machine from other sources measurably higher. Does the job and then some. Fast delivery. Only complaints are minor and easily remedied: As reported by others, the storage for the tips is ineffective. With the machine running, the tips vibrate out of their "sockets".Will fashion a retainer strap (velcro?) to hold them in place. Hose length is too short. Had to buy additional hose. Don't park it on an abrasive surface while operating. The rear feet abrade.

Great Pressure Washer

I was able to use this pressure washer on the pool deck over the weekend and wow, it is so much quieter than my previous smaller engine Honda washer. It started on two pulls, brand new. It was very easy to assemble, add oil, add fuel, conned to the hose, and ready to go! I do wish the throttle handle was a bit longer or had a comfort-type grip on it. Everything seems like excellent quality. I did have an issue lining up the holes to attach the handle…I had to hammer it in with a rubber mallet. When I finally got the screws through it was all downhill from there. Again, I’m delightfully surprised at how quiet this thing is, and it never hesitates when starting the water flow.

I have only had this pressure washer for two weeks and have used it for about 10 hours. I wouldn't.normally wouldn't review something so quickly, but this thing is great. About a month ago I used another brand 3000psi pressure washer and was pleased with the cleaning power. This one is at least 25% better. The pump and Honda engine was the main selling point for buying this one. Several other features also played a part. It has no soap tank to empty and clean and the engine has a throttle to reduce the pressure if you wish. I purchased an adjustable soap nozzle which will shoot the cleaning solution or rinse water 30 feet. The nozzles don't fall out of the holder. The 25 foot hose is plenty. The only problem I've had was bracing my hand on the muffler cover to restart the engine. Once was enough to cause me to paint the muffler cover with orange engine paint.

Normally do not write reviews

This power washer worked great right out of the box. I have run it for a few hours and was surprised that it does not use much gas. Took 5 minutes to assemble and then all you have to do is figure out which way to set the levers. Then just one good pull and it starts. Worth buying! and does a really nice job.

Great Motor, Poor Pump and Warranty Service

I have actually purchased two units, the first purchased on-line was delivered sooner than expected, the box showed a lot of damage, however the unit seemed to be in good shape. Unit started and worked great for approximately 2 1/2 hours (washing Motorhome prior to a trip). As I finished washing under the Motorhome I noticed that water was shooting 15 feet straight up in the air from a blown gasket on the pump. After returning from our trip I called the 1-800 help line, people there were helpful finding a local repair shop to have the unit repaired, I called the shop, spoke to the receptionist and was assured that they did warranty repair, so packed up unit, traveled 20 miles (1 way) got to the shop and was told by owner that they had not worked on and would not work on Simpson washers for at least 2 years. Back to help line. They provided a second Warranty repair location 65 miles away, called and yes they did repair work but did not stock parts. The 1-800 help line had offered to send parts so that I could make repairs, but they were back ordered for a least 3 weeks, so I decided to return the unit to my local store 55 miles away, in Bryan,Tx, they were great refunded purchase price no questions asked. I then reordered a second unit on-line. It was delieved promptly, however the box was completely smashed. Unit was upside in box (would not have accepted from carrier but he set it by the door and ran). Again, unit show no signs of damage, unit started right away, but did not seem to have power of first unit and pump made unusal noises, used unit for 20 minutes completed task and stop unit then notice oil running out of the pump. After past experience took unit straight back to store, again great service. Then decided to buy a different unit at the store, purchased a Generac washer $100 less expensive, less powerful, frame not as strong (plastic parts), motor not a Honda, but it is still running great after 6 plus hours of use.
