Great News

The Simpson PS60843 is a beast. With 4400 PSI and 4.0 GPM, it cleans concrete, driveways, and heavy grime fast without having to linger. It runs smoothly, feels solid, and is clearly built for professional or heavy-duty use. Definitely more power than a typical homeowner needs, but if you want speed and real results, this pressure washer delivers.

This thing ROCKS!

A couple of years ago, I purchased a Simpson MSV 3100 at Sam's that had an amazing Honda GSV 190 engine. When it failed, we decided to buy a replacement and to have the MSV 3100 repaired as a back-up. We then purchased the Simpson Mega Shot 3100 at Sam's. After using it for one day, it vibrated so bad (most likely an adjustment) it would shake your eye-teeth out. So, we returned it to Sam's. We had considered the Simpson Power Shot 3200, but Sam's was out of stock and everyone else was selling the same unit for over $800. We then purchased a Troy Bilt pressure washer from Lowe's with similar specs as the 3100 and the same Honda motor for $399. Not a bad unit, but it comes with a .25 gal fuel tank, which will last about 40 minutes, you can't fill the fuel tank (poor design) with anything other than an one or maybe two gallon fuel can, the 30 ft hose must have been the cheapest thing they could find and cheap, plastic wheels...guess what...it also went back. I then checked back on-line and Sam's was showing the Simpson Power Shot 3200 back in stock for online purchases. (Point being, if you want this unit and Sam's shows it's available online, don't hesitate, buy it. The day after I purchased mine, Sam's was out of stock again.) I now own this Simpson Power Shot 3200. WOW, what a difference! I now understand why the prices jump up so much when considering a 3100 psi unit @ 2.5 gpm vs. a 3200 psi unit w/2.8 gpm. The difference is simply amazing. This monster cut my cleaning time (for concrete) by at least half...and more like 2/3. Bottom line, if you need a serious unit, this by far is the most bang for the buck. After using it for the first time today AND using it's predecessors, I would have gladly paid $200 more for this unit. Please note: The instructions clearly state you must have a water supply that can supply 5 gallons of water per minute. You need to apply that math with this unit. When I first hooked it up to the hose and tested it, it "burped" after a minute or so. I then cracked open the manual, read the water psi and gallon per minute (gpm) requirements, found a spigot that put out 5 gpm and the unit preformed flawlessly. Also, a longer hose will greatly diminish water pressure...just grab a 5 gallon bucket and see if you can fill it up in 60 seconds before you connect it to your unit. Again, this is by far the BEST pressure washer for the $$$. Also, purchase the service agreement for this unit, it's stupid cheap from Sam's and the Simpson's customer service leaves a lot to be desired, especially during this time of year. Cheers! Best value out there

I have always purchased smaller pressure washers and over the years have gone through about three pressure washers. I finally decided to purchase a larger unit and researched online for months. This is hands down the best value out there. It arrived ahead of schedule. Assembly took less than five minutes including adding the oil. Put gas in the tank and it started on the first pull. Wow what difference from the smaller units. The commercial Honda engine was a huge selling point considering the engine alone is almost the same price as this entire unit. Value, value, value. You won't regret this purchase.

Great machine!!

The build quality is solid — this thing feels like it’s made to last. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly, and the rugged frame makes it easy to move around the yard. It’s clear this wasn’t designed just for light weekend use, but for real heavy-duty work.

Power, Durability and Value

I ordered the Simpson with the TriPlex pump because my research showed it to be the better pump. It offers 3200psi and only uses 2.8GPM which is about the limit at which my house water hose could provide before changing it. It arrived in a couple of pieces but was easy to put together. I had it together in about 15mins and running in about 30mins of assembly. It did take me about 3 pulls initially to crank it but it was easy enough. I find it powerful and seems well built. Would be even better if it had a soap dispenser holder but the wand and nozzle tips all fit directly on the handle assembly. I've used it for about 3hrs so far washing my deck and it worked much easier than my 1800psi electric model. For the price most pumps of this quality with Honda engines will cost about $700+... I'm looking forward to years of use.

Simpson PS3228S Pressure Washer

1. Received 1day before earliest date of expected delivery listed 2.As others have listed, box arrived pretty well beat up,and, of course gas tank has small dent in upper corner from handle laying loose in box. 3.Added oil, gas, checked pump oil, connected water hose after I found and installed a hose gasket to keep water from spraying all over the pump. 4.No hose in box, have read other complain about length of hose, but, I received no hose or quick connect fittings. 5.Emailed Simpson to notify shortage so, hopefully that gets resolved easliy as I have confidence in the great Honda engine and Simpson name. 6. I will add final review after I receive everything and try it out.

Seems very well built. Engine started on the first

. Seems very well built. Engine started on the first pull (it is a Honda) and runs beautifully. For most cleaning apps. like the stucco on my house I only run it at 1/2 throttle and it does the job. Also better on gas then I expected, probably because I don't always run it at full throttle. My last power washer was a 1500 psi unit and did everything well, this Simpson unit is well worth the money from my point of view.

Very Good Purchase

Powerful unit, well-built, good value. I had a unit powered by Honda before and it held up very well. Moved to this area and needed a new pressure washer. This unit works vey well and is easy to start. The nozzle tips stay in the holding frame even though these units do have a lot of vibration. The only reason that I did not give the unit 5 stars was it would be more helpful to have a 30' hose instead of 25ft. I have used this unit to clean decking, stucco, and concrete and it is very good using the different nozzle tips. It is important to use the right nozzle tip for the right job or there will be problems because of the pressure power of the unit. It was a worthwhile purchase and it was easy through Sam's Club.

Simpson PowerShot - 3200 PSI review

I had it shipped to my home. I received it in good condition 5 days after purchase. Minor assembly and startup preparation is required. I have only used it for 1 day but it was nearly continuously for 10 hours. The performance was 1st rate. There is a good marriage between engine power and pump so the engine doesn't get overworked. pump output is just right. There is plenty of power when you need it and it is easily capable for light jobs. It ran continuously for hours without incident. It is not exactly good on gas but I think that is a small price to pay for the performance required to do a good job. My only beef would be that the spray gun nozzle rubber grommets in the handle do not hold the nozzles very well and they will fall out during operation. Cost me about 1/2 hour of hunting around in the grass to find one that fell out. I now remove them from their holders during operation. All in all, I would say that the unit was an easily portable and powerful pressure washer for the money and I would recommend it to others for purchase.

Pro washer at a DIY'er price

This power washer was a great pay-off for all the research I did....solid performance, great components. The combination of the GX series Honda motor and the pro-qualtiy pump make this a purchase I will only have to make once. It sets up quickly, works well, is manuverable and compact. Great pride of ownership and a huge savings over other comperable washers.
