I only used it one time. I backfired on me a couple times, but I heard that it’s a common thing with Honda engines if the throttle is too high. I an only 5’9, but the handle seems a little short. Maybe the short handle and hose are designed that way on purpose. Wish it came with quick connect.

Researched many models. Chose the Simpson with the Honda engine. Wow, what a fantastic machine. So glad I got this one. Used to clean driveway, walkways and deck. Compact machine with lots of power. Would absolutely recommend !

I started using the unit. I am greatly impressed with the design and the efficiency of the washer. I am also very impressed on how the engined. 99% of the time the engine starts with one pull.

I’m new to power washing and did a days research. I went with this machine, and it’s amazing. No complaints. I’ll likely buy another Simpson unit at the end of the year and just opt for a higher pressure but this thing is as advertised. Negative reviews are likely folks that have know idea about what they’re getting into or how to properly care for their equipment. Solid Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just finished cleaning my deck for the spring. This power washer is so powerful I was able to use a wider spray tip and cut the job time by at least 40 %. Starts right up, gotta love the Honda engine. It’s a solid machine.

I struggled with the initial start-up, which I think was the low oil cut-off. The next day, armed with a better understanding of the proper oil level and fresh 4 gallons of stabilized, ethanol-free gas, t followed the directions exactly and it cranked, and worked great. I want to thank the ‘You-tube’ community that added clarity to the directions. One personal complaint is the low profile design that is not great with my 6’3” body.

Handle holes would not line up. Had to cut 3/8 inch off of the bottom of the handle and repaint. After doing that it fix fine. Sifvon valve worked for the first 30 minutes then stopped working. I am so disgusted I could not finish washing the back of the house. I just put it in the garage and will work on it when I get a chance. Motor works fine. I would not purchase another Simpson product.
