Just the size and capability I was looking for. I think the Owners Manual is lacking some information, but I figured it out myself.

I'm impressed with the power of the machine. It's a solid well built machine. Only thing I'd change is the place where the nozzle rests. I wish it somehow fastened on the stand as the nozzle falls off when moving the pressure washer around. I'll probably rig a bungie cord to hold it in place. Otherwise very happy, I would buy it again.

I've had my pressure washer for over a week now and have been very impressed. I have used a similar PSI rated washer from another company and it is louder and takes up more room. I like the durable hose on this one and if I am washing my truck, I am not worried about the hose coming in contact with my vehicle as it is soft and non marking. The only thing to improve in this design is the wand holder and hose holder. The wand comes off easy if I bump into it or while rolling out for use. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

So far so good. Works like a dream. I've got it attached to a surface cleaner. I've done my own house as well as a job for a client. The client job was pretty big with sidewalks, driveway, RV slab, backyard. It holds up under hours and hours of work. Once I get my hands and wrists in condition, I'll be able to keep up with the machine.

I’ve been really impressed with my Simpson PS4240 pressure washer. It has plenty of power for residential pressure washing and has handled driveways, sidewalks, pool decks, and other outdoor surfaces without a problem. The 4200 PSI and 4.0 GPM provide excellent cleaning power, and the machine feels solid and well-built.

This is a well constructed machine that should last a long time. Excellent Honda motor and the pump looks like it will last. Performs well. Just a couple oddities: the wand won't stay put in the rack and there is no onboard detergent container. Neither is a big deal. Love the handle configuration. Very convenient hose connection location as well. And the unit will run for a long time without running out of gas, unlike the other pressure washer I previously bought.

I just recently purchased this, and have made short order on my pressure washing work. Easy to start. However, after one use of the detergent intake, it quit extracting the detergent. I'll need to talk to somebody about what to do, as I don't want to return my unit.

Just got this yesterday and used it today. It worked as expected , awsome. After unpacking ther we're no scratch's or dents on the unit. Assembly was quick and easy. Everything was in the box. I owned a Simpson alh4240 for around 7 years. I build houses and used that machine to pressure wash all the houses. And many of our driveways are over 100 feet long with massive covered porch's. Not sure how many houses it did but I'm positive it's at least one hundred. Many took over 4 hours to do . Looking forward to many years of service from this new machine. Great job Simpson. I had no reservations with buying another Simpson made product.

Very durable and dependable. Would highly recommend this top of the line premium pressure washer. You cannot go wrong with a Honda built engine. Easy to maintain and clean looking with an all black look. Simpson and Honda are an A+ combination. Looking forward to using this machine for years to come.
