Bread had a good date, but was stale. I buy this bread more than any other from the local grocery store and it usually last me over a week before it seems a little stale, but this double loaves was stale from the start.. This is the second time that I have experienced this when ordering from Sam's...

Buy all the time. If you have a bagel setting on your toaster you can place 2 pieces in one side, toast for a sandwich like a ham and cheese using the untoasted side on the inside. Otherwise, if toasted on both sides, it ends up a little crunchy which makes excellent avocado toast.

I really like this bread. It has a good taste yet only 45 calories. a slice. It's not the easiest to toast in a toaster-over due to the thinness of the bread but with practice you can do pretty good. Despite, the thinness of the slice this holds up to make a good sandwich.

Though a bit pricey, Sara Lee Delightful bread is delightful. A whole bread bread, trimmed down in calories, it is okay for my diet. It does not seem to raise my glucose levels like most breads. The taste is equal too or maybe a bit better than most common breads.

Bread at its freshest stage and it has not been crushed. Properly baked, handled, rotated and stored bread makes all the difference for ANY loaves, but when you have a delicate bread such as this then it is such a pleasure to devour a slice. It is so easy to spread a lite mayo or jam after a toasting or just raw. The bread has a great flavor and texture that adds to any sandwich.
