Love Delightful Bread

Delightful bread is a light healthy option for my toast, sandwiches etc! It is a staple at our house and I have been very disappointed to see it disappearing from the shelves at my Sam's Club. I hope that it is a temporary absence somehow due to Coronavirus and that the bread will return! Otherwise I will have to look to another store that has a light bread option.

Loss of value to the customer

I appreciate the healthy, multi-grain nature and smaller/thinner slices of this bread, at 45 cal/slice, for easier portion/calorie control, versus the prior Arnold "Whole Grain - Healthy Multi Grains" bread that was recently discontinued leaving this Sara Lee product as the only multi-grain equivalent at a similar price. However, the Arnold product was superior in flavor and in the whole, multi-grain character of the bread. Most disappointing of all is Sam's Club diminishing the value it offers, is that the Arnold whole, multi-grain bread sold for $6.32 for a double pack of 28 oz. loaves (56 oz. total), equating to only $0.113 per oz, whereas the Sara Lee Delightful Multigrain double pack contains 20 oz. loaves (only 40 oz. total), yet sells for more - $6.77, equating to $0.169 per oz., a 50% increase in price per unit weight. I would rather Sam's Club continued to offer Arnold's Healthy Multi-Grains bread and use a half slice than pay 50% more for the Sara Lee product with no gain in quality, flavor or healthfulness, but with only Sam's Club bottom line benefiting.

Outdated

I prefer a more fresh taste and texture. Unless this will be consumed in 2-3 days even this price is a waste of money. I even tried freezing 1 bag. This is truly only meant for immediate and complete use. The price is what it is because of the expiry date.

Best diet bread

After trying many breads this is my favorite. Stays soft for days. Not good for toast. Makes a great sandwich that is low in carbs. Multigrain is my first choice. The price could be lower. Two slices equals 1 diabetic bread exchange. Freezes well.

Sara Lee 100% Multi-Grain Bread

Sara Lee Multi-Grain Bread is ok, just too soft and smooth for my tastes. I figured, I'd give it try, but I prefer more interesting textures in my breads.

Love the bread but not the quality at Sam's Club

I love this bread, it's the only way to eat whole grain bread. But the last 2 times I have bought it from Sam's it has gotten moldy within a week!
