[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the retro look of this Clearview Toaster! It is only a two slice but fits thicker slices and bagels without any problems. I love that you can watch as your items are being toasted. The toaster is a little oversized so make sure you have counter room. There is also a bagel setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whoever thought of the see-through window is a genius! I can pop out the toast if I think it's getting too dark. The slot is the perfect size to do thin, thick, short, or long pieces of bread. Not sure there needs to be 7 settings as the item can be popped up if it is browning too much as you look through the window. Cleaning is quick and easy with the crumb tray that slides out. My favorite part of this toaster is the clear view panel so that I always keep an eye on how well the toast is browning and can pop it up if I like what I see. :-)

I like my cute new toaster but I have to put my homemade sourdough bread on the highest setting and it still only does one side well (the side away from the window). So I have to put it down twice after turning it around. It works better than the old one I was using so Ill keep using it.

So far it's a good toaster, seems to toast to different settings as expected. The window is kind of useless for checking doneness because of the light the heating element casts on the bread. For the price it has good features, when it pops the toast it sounds tinny and cheap but it does pop the toast out. Wish it had a feature that lets you raise the toast to check doneness while it is toasting like my Breville did. I hope it is a long and satisfying relationship because it is hard to find a good toaster.

I purchased the Dash Clear View Toaster based on the reviews I researched, and especially based on the one that America's Test Kitchen gave on it's YouTube channel. After using a Black&Decker $20 toaster for the past 8 years, which served me very well, I have to say that the Clear View Toaster is a far superior product. Not only does it toast evenly, but it retains some of the moisture inside the bread, while leaving it nice and toasted on the outside. I've never had toast not taste dry without any butter or other garnishments, so this was a pleasant surprise! I believe this has something to do with the heating elements, which are not the standard wires; rather they are large element tubes located at the bottom of the heating tray. Another thing I love about this toaster is the space-saving design. The single-slot design also allows me to toast wider pieces of bread, like my favorite Goldminer's Sourdough, without having to cut the slices in half. The view window is a nice addition, but based on how I have my toaster orientated, it's not a feature I will use often. The outside remains cool to the touch and also is very easy to clean. It matches the other appliances I have around my kitchen, including my appliances!Dash, great job on making a great product! So far, I am really enjoying my new toaster!Chris

I absolutely love the see thru side..you can stop the toasting process if it's getting too done . Great settings to choose from, excellent product..I'm just over the moon in love with this thing!! Lol . Toast your bread, muffin or bagel in one slot, watch it through the window..awesome product !!!

The book that shows the way bread looks toasted on the number settings is very helpful. Its also nice outside look and color.

I've had my new toaster for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. As I like larger bread slices from round loaves, this toaster works beautifully. It toasts evenly and you can actually see it toasting. You can adjust the browning to your exact needs. Best toaster I've ever had. Read the enclosed instruction book to get the best results. My husband likes to toast his waffle using the defrost button. It defrosts first, then continues on with the perfect degree of browning that he likes. Great machine!

I love that I can finally watch my toast to make sure it's perfectly toasted without having to stop and start the toaster numerous times to get the perfect toast. I also love the color of the toaster, finally a bright and cheerful color.
