I loved having the side window to watch the progression of what ever food item I was toasting, but this product didn't last long. Eventually the mechanism to drop the toast failed. If you held it down, the toaster would heat up and work, but it wasn't worth the bother and this cute little toaster is headed for the garbage can.

Great toaster.

I purchased this toaster back in April and have tried to use it multiple times. Every single time I use it the bread is only toasted in sections and not evenly as expected. On top of that if you are not standing right next to it to catch your toast when its done your toast ends up in the counter or floor as it shoots it out of the toaster. We tried multiple settings and different types of bread but had the same results time and time again. If I would have read the reviews prior to purchasing I would have seen others had the same issue. Lucky for me Sam's has a great return policy and took it back no questions asked.

Our old toaster lasted 20 years. We splurged a replaced it with a $125 commercial restaurant quality, which we returned after a few days because it was so bad. Then we tried this toaster and we couldn't be happier. It toasts evenly on both sides. My husband set up the toaster at eye level to make it easy to monitor the color through the window. You can push a button to stop toasting and have the bread come up gently without launching it, as another reviewer mentioned.

Seems to be well made. I like the fact that it has quartz heating bars. Typically seen in high end toasters

Tried several other toasters that didn’t even work or correctly work. This one works great & it’s fun to watch it toast!

rear element does not come on

I can't really rate the toaster. I bought it as a gift and was only able to get it to her yesterday. I hope she will try it soon.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. 5 months later it broke, Sam’s Club did refund for it so 5 stars for Sam’s Club.
