I mean it'll get the job done but it takes a lot longer and things just don't seem as toasted. overall fine, just not great

I previewed several prospects and have discovered that buying a new toaster is not at all an easy task. Toasters run the gamete from cheap to super expensive and have several features such as defrost, bagel and reheat, etc. Paying more does not guarantee better performance. Seems most new toaster can not "toast" bread! They either don't toast, burn your bread, toast unevenly, and are not consistent. Ran across the Dash ClearView and found it to have the features I wanted...wide and long slots (1.5 x 10.5) defrost, bagel and reheat functions and a very cool see through window. My Mother had a glass front see through toaster back in the early 80's Don't re,ember ...

Toaster ovens have their heating elements so far away from the bread that the end result is more like melba toast. The Clear View toaster gives fast even heating that results in a perfectly browned surface while keeping the inside of the toast soft and cool. The narrow size fits easily on the counter without encroaching on the working area. My favorite thing to toast is an English muffin, and the Clear View toaster toasts them to a tee.

I'm not sure how long I've had this toaster. I've used it often, the bread tray became unlevel and now only half the bread gets toasted. I liked this toaster so much, I'm buying another one. For the price, I feel it's worth it.

My kids are at the age where they like to make their own toast and waffles. I like that this raises up high enough when done toasting so they do not burn their fingers when removing food. Also they think peaking through the window is the greatest thing!

It takes up more than the width of a 4 slice toaster but it’s only 2 slices. You can check the toast through the looking glass as it toasts but after you know your setting the first time, who really does this? It works well and is nicely built, it’s just not for me.

Why toast the "back" of the Bagel ?Browning dial has a good range to select the desired "Shade" of your toast or whatever.Color choices help make the Toaster add a little "Pop" (pun intended) of color in the kitchen.All in all, so far so good.

It toast bread Bagels English muffins or whatever you want to perfection and what's even better is you can see it and if you want it to pop up early all you have to do is push the button in the center of the dial. I love the bagel setting because I only want the cut side to toast and now I can have it the way I like it. Don't even think twice just order this believe me you'll never be sorry you did.

It will hold one long bread where regular toasters won't. If you have regular size bread, you can put two pieces in at once. It also is wide enough for bagels. You can set the toaster to the shade of toast you want and watch it, which is cool. When the toast pops up, it is so powerful it literally pops right out of the toaster. It has a defrost mode which I've used for frozen waffles. I have also used the reheat mode, which works well. This toaster is very unique from any other toaster out there.

Having a window into your toaster and being able to stop if it starts browning too quickly is one of those things you always wanted but didn’t know existed. This buttons and knobs are great. Easy cancel button and large, easy to use and see knobs. I really think that this is a great toaster. Quickly toaster your favorite toaster. Easily fits on most counters & I love the side be side length size design over stacked ones.
